In March 2024, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management provided 406.5 million kyats in humanitarian aid to those truly in need across the nation.
The 406.5 million kyats in aid was allocated as follows:
- 290.1 million kyats for emergency food supplies for 154,200 internally displaced people and conflict affected population
- 46.8 million kyats as humanitarian aid for 257 fallen heroes and 388 injured civilians from the conflicts
- 5.5 million kyats in emergency aid for Civil Disobedience Movement staff
- 1.3 million kyats in emergency aid for political prisoners and their families
- 9.8 million kyats for national food reserve
- 53.2 million kyats in general humanitarian assistance
- Support to construct 46 temporary housings in safe locations for those whose houses were burned down
