The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government provided humanitarian assistance worth 918.23 million kyats in January 2025, to those truly in need. This information is being shared to foster mutual support between the government and the public.
The 918.23 million kyats of public donations from revolutionary people were used in the following sectors:
867.4 million kyats for emergency food supplies for 102,721 internally displaced persons/war refugees
31.5 million kyats as emergency humanitarian assistance for 123 heroic civilians who lost their lives and 247 injured civilians
5.4 million kyats as emergency humanitarian assistance for Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) staff
1.6 million kyats as emergency humanitarian assistance for political prisoners and their family members
12.4 million kyats provided as general humanitarian assistance
