The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government is continuing to provide support to flood-affected areas across Myanmar, including Sagaing, Magway, Mandalay, Bago, Shan, Kayah, Karen, Mon, and Rakhine regions, using donations received from public-to-public contributions.
Currently, emergency shelter and food supplies are being distributed to flood-affected and conflict-displaced people in Sagaing and Magway regions on a household basis, in coordination with township humanitarian coordinators. Collaborations with township PDF groups, PDF units and people administration boards are continuing on activities such as emergency relocation to safe areas, rescue operations, provision of emergency humanitarian assistance, and ensuring timely access to healthcare services in their respective geographic areas.
