Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management under the National Unity Government provided 10.51 billion kyats (US$5.01 million) in humanitarian aid to different regions from April 16, 2021 to December 31, 2023. This humanitarian assistance was delivered to civilians affected by the military junta’s arson attacks, those who fled their homes due to junta forces’ offensives, those injured or families of those killed while participating in the revolution, vulnerable groups including the disabled in need of aid, civil disobedience movement staffs opposing the regime, victims of natural disasters, with effective partnership with local partner organizations, representatives, humanitarian workers and volunteers working to distribute aid on the ground. to those genuinely in need, and others requiring humanitarian support due to various circumstances. We would like to express our utmost gratitude to each and every donor who has participated and generously contributed with a revolutionary spirit to provide this humanitarian aid to those truly in need, during the nearly three years of the revolution amid constant challenges.
