Humanitarian assistance provision for IDPs in Lay Kay Kaw area

Ground staff of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, together with local people, have provided food, blankets and Tarpaulins to IDPs who fled to Thaung-Yin River on Thai-Myanmar border from the ongoing battles in the KNU-controlled areas, urgently overnight. Snacks and toys were also sent to IDP children on the side of Thailand.
In coordination with various partner organisations, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has provided over 40 million kyats worth of emergency food, blankets, tarpaulins, shelters, latrines, and relief supplies for IDPs in Lay-Kay-Kaw area till December 22, 2021.
Likewise, humanitarian assistance has been delivered to various regions in Myanmar including Sagaing and Magway Divisions which are violently oppressed by the military junta terrorists.
