Due to intensified attacks in Karenni State, emergency food is being provided to the IDPs swiftly. As the number of IDPs increases, initial fund has been sent for the emergency food, supplies, and emergency needs.
The coordinated efforts are being made with related partner organisations such as Karreni State Consultative Council (KSCC), Coordination Team for Emergency Relief (CTER), Kerreni State Assembly Representative Committees, and local humanitarian aid providers for the aid.
Recently, a total of more than 50 million kyats worth of food, emergency supplies and cash has been delivered to Karreni State. Also, the plans are already made to provide further support based on the needs.
