Humanitarian aid for people affected by the flood and landslide

Some regions in Myanmar are being affected by floods nowadays.
On 29 July 2021, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MOHADM), National Unity Government (NUG) provided 900,000 MMK (100,000 MMK per family) to civilians whose houses were damaged by the landslide and 100,000 MMK to a family of casualty affected by the landslide.
Moreover, on 30 July 2021, MOHADM supported 2,700,000 MMK, which estimated equivalent of 390 rice bags to provide a 6 pyi bag per family, to people affected by the flood in Mon State and supported 2,520,000 MMK to 2800 people affected by flood in Kayin State for rice ration.
People who contributed in providing humanitarian assistance are really appreciated for their cooperation. Amidst obstacles, MOHADM will continue providing assistance to the disaster affected areas.
