On February 1, 2024, marking the 3rd anniversary of the illegal military coup, Dr. Win Myat Aye, Union Minister for the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government, attended an event organized by the NUG Representative Office in Japan and Japanese Parliament Members from the Japan Parliamentarian’s Union, who are interested in Myanmar Affairs ,was held at the Japanese Parliament Members’ Building in Tokyo.
Union Minister briefed the attending Japanese parliamentarians, international audience, Myanmar nationals in Japan, and media on Myanmar’s current situation, regarding the challenges faced by displaced people, future political policies, and the mutual consensus of various groups waging the revolution to end the military dictatorship and build a Federal Democratic Union.
